I will dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
